The mission of PRACE (Partnership for Advanced Computing in Europe) is to enable high impact scientific discovery and engineering research and development across all disciplines to enhance European competitiveness for the benefit of society. PRACE seeks to realize this mission by offering world class computing and data management resources and services through a peer review process.
LUMI (Large Unified Modern Infrastructure), is one of the EuroHPC pre-exascale supercomputers. It will be located at CSC’s datacenter in Kajaani, Finland. The supercomputer will be hosted by the LUMI consortium including nine European countries. The consortium countries are Denmark, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Finland, Estonia, Norway, Poland, Sweden and Switzerland.
LUMI is expected to be up and running i the fall of 2020.
